Crash on placing track in "hilight collisions" mode.

Description

This issue might be related to #21948 (closed), however, it is not dependent on "allow drc violations" being selected. only "highlight collisions" mode needs to be selected for the pcb editor to crash.

Steps to reproduce

1. open attached pcb file hard_crash_trace_creation_cut_down_4.kicad_pcb
2. Try routing a track anywhere. you will be able to place the starting point, but upon placing the second point, kicad will freeze and then crash within a couple seconds. I have a 100% crash rate on placing the second point.
3. ( i have only tested routing top layer within pcb bounds.)
