[9.0.1RC2] Embedded Files: Odd behavior when using an edited 3D model that is already used in another footprint

Description

If you use a model, lets say X.step in one footprint, and then you externally modify X.step and add it to another footprint KiCad will just recycle the original one without even checking if the selected file is the same. KiCad should check the CRC for the selected file and if it doesn't match inform if the user wants to replace the current model or reuse it.

If you do it in the same day it will be obvious, but if you have a big PCB and you embedded the model days ago, or another person did it, you'll get puzzled about why the model looks different.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Embed a model in a footprint
  2. Modify the model
  3. Embed the modified model in another footprint
  4. The first is used
