EEschema pasting image does not embed image to schematic

Description

Pasting a screenshot made with the Windows 11 Snipping Tool in the kicad schematic, the image seems added as expected, can be redimensionned and moved around. However when closing and re-opening the schematics, the following error is shown:

The content of kicad_sch file related to the added image are only the following lines:

	(image
		(at 81.28 327.66)
		(scale 0.450838)
		(uuid "1cde3cad-7d4a-4ea5-9dff-05d1c1b7f656")
		(data)
	)

Removing those lines fixes the schematics, but the image is gone.
