Altium to KiCad import, KiCad symbols are always reported as 0 degree rotation, even when were rotated in Altium

Description

Altium to KiCad schematic import, KiCad symbols are always reported as zero degree rotation, even when were rotated in Altium schematic prior to import into KiCad. none needed

When changing/updating schematic symbol in KiCad schematic, the result will be 90 degrees to imported symbol if rotated in Altium. All KiCad symbols used were originally imported from Altium, so they are the same.

Steps to reproduce

Same in all Altium to KiCad schematic imports
  1. Altium schematic created. Altium symbol added to schematic. Vertical resistor in this case.
  2. Symbol rotated to horizontal.
  3. Altium design saved.
  4. Altium schematic imported into KiCad. Kicad reports the imported all symbols are at zero degrees rotation.
  5. Update schematic symbol from database. Altium and KiCad symbols are identical. All KiCad symbols were imported from Altium
  6. Updated symbol is now 90 degrees out of rotation with original Altium to schematic
