8.99 Symbol Editor "Save Copy As" now allows symbols to be written to Kicad read only Libraries.
Following the "Save Copy" feature just added to 8.99 Kicad Symbol Editor (Issue 18902), using the "Save Copy As" feature allows:
- adding newly created symbols to be added to Kicad Libraries.
- the transfer of symbols from Personal Libraries to Kicad Libraries.
Also, modifying a Kicad Symbol, then "Save Copy As" to a Personal Library, then "Save", results in the modified symbol being saved in its modified version in both a Personal Library as well as the Kicad Library. [Moved to #18908 (closed) (by @johnbeard )]
