Grid Settings : Quality of life improvements (Button and/or Double-click status bar to open, additional quick settings, direct-specify grid spacing with XY ratio lock)
Description
When working with a window which is distant from the macOS top bar, (such as at the bottom-right of the screen), frequently altering the Grid Settings is frustrating.
Could we add:
- The ability to Open Grid Settings from the bottom of the editor windows?
- By double-clicking the grid units in the bottom status bar (see below).
- Two more Quick Select grid options for those who would like them.
- Supplement hotkeys Alt+1 and Alt+2 with added hotkeys Shift+Alt+1 and Shift+Alt+2?
- Note : Option key instead of Alt key on macOS.
- Display current grid spacing as editable text in Grid Settings
- Allow directly specifying grid by typing, without use of a quick select.
- Add engagable chain-link icon between X and Y.
- When enabled, locks ratio between X and Y.
- When enabled, typing within X or Y dynamically updates the other in real time.
