Lock file warning message upon opening demo projects' pcb boards

Error message upon opening demo projects pcb boards (any of them) on 7.08 version

Clean and pristine 7.08 installation on my PC. My very first attempt to explore DemoProjects (any of them) triggers an error upon opening their respective pcb boards (.kikad_pcb). Opening schematic files (.kikad_sch) or symbol files (.kikad_sym) does not trigger any error. In english, the error message would translate in: "The PCB xxxxxxx.kikad_pcb is already opened by “à”. “Interlaced saves/backups may produce unpredictable results”
