Copper-edge clearance is defaulting to zero rather than correct value of 0.5mm
Description
If a user creates a new project the Board Setup-->Constraint section is prepopulated with default values. For the settings:
- minimum copper clearance
- minimum track width
- copper to edge clearance
these default value is set to "0" (zero). This is contrary to most other settings, which have at least a reasonable value at the start of a project. It's not the exact value that matters, but it should be a useful number.
This affects mostly Kicad starters, experienced users know which constraint-values they have to change.
Steps to reproduce
- start kicad main manager
- File-->New Project to create a new project
- in "kicad main manager" click on the pcb-icon to open a fresh new board
- File-->Board Setup-->Design Rules-->Constraint
- look at copper clearance, track width, copper to edge: all set to zero (see picture)
- compare with minimum via / drill /annular ring / .... / : useful values
