3DConnection's Spacemouse works but can’t be customized?
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is a real issue or just "by-design" so apologies in advance, but I’ve tried 3DConnection’s support and also their forums to no avail.
I was happy to see support for the Spacemouse on KC7 and it seems to be working great… with the default configuration. Any attempt to customize the radial menus or the buttons seem to be completely ignored, though. As a simple example, when assigning a keystroke to the one of the radial menus, 3DxWare accepts the customization but when I open the menu inside KiCAD it simply shows the default layout. The exact same thing happens on the CADMouse. I've added both "KiCAD" and "pcbnew" as applications and tried the customization under both and also under "any application" with the same result.
In Fusion360 everything works fine. I’m on MacOS Ventura btw.
Thanks!
Steps to reproduce
On MacOS Ventura customize any button or radial menu entry in 3DxWare and then try to use it inside pcbnew/KiCAD 7.0.0.
