Cut and paste(special) components from one hierarchical sheet to the other in eeschema will appear as new components in Pcbnew after "update from schematic"
Description
Already made component placement in Pcbnew will be destroyed, when you cut and paste components/circuits from one page of a hierarchical design to the other and afterwards do an "update from schematic" inside the pcb-editor.
Steps to reproduce
- You have a hierarchical design with 2 (or more) sheets
- You have already created a PCB and you have made a placement of the components.
- During the placement you get the experience, that some components would be better connected to components which are on the other schematic sheet.
- Therefore you dive into the first sheet and cut out those components/circuits and then you enter the second sheet and paste (special - just to keep the RefDes) the component/circuits into the second page.
- You enter Pcbnew
- Make an "Update PCB with the changes made to schematic"
- Every moved component will be treated like new components nevertheless they kept their RefDes values. They stick on the mouse pointer
