Crash when Adding new via

Description

KiCad completely crashes (closes all open windows) when I click the add via button in PCBNew after routing a track between 2 pads using hotkeys. It would be expected to not crash under such circumstances.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open project in PCBnew
2. Press X on a pad
3. Go another pad of the same net, press X again
4. Optionally press esc to exit routing (still crashes regardless)
5. Click on add new via, or press ctrl+shift+v
6. KiCad crashes
