Setting to disable the direct daemon integration (feature request)

I love the extension for the quality of the highlighting however I'm not always running Docker locally, and when I do I typically manage it outside of Nova, it'd be great if the daemon integration could be disabled with a setting so the extension doesn't display an error message every time Nova is started.
