The (personal) goals for this project came in an effort to overcome various challenges with "overly similar" student assignments. Over the course of time, several issues needed to be overcome, and this project evolved from those needs.

### Social Constraints
There are various legal, organizational, and cultural constraints that may act as a barrier to validating that a student's work is their own.
Depending on the stakeholder, there are a number of cultural pressures placed on Faculty that prevent them from using tools such as this:
