Multiverse + Redshift: Geometry turns black in render depending on polygon vertex ordering in USD file
Issue
What could be a reason that objects come out black in a Maya + Multiverse + Redshift render? We have an exported .usd file from Houdini (also happens with a .abc of the same instanced geometry).
For the USD Export it worked to tweak this setting in the Houdini graph:
Houdini SOPs -> LOPs node change geometry handling "reverse polygon vertex ordering" Still, we have other exports from Houdini in both .abc and .usd that work just fine. Also the viewport doesn't show any issues.
It's odd that only really this geometry caused the issue
