RealConsole

What is RealConsole?

RealConsole is a Unity Engine command-line interface that gives all developers, designers, testers and users alike editor levels of control. Even with its capabilities, RealConsole comes with a friendly and highly editable user interface allowing anyone to use its numerous features explained further down.

What does RealConsole include?

RealConsole includes the ability to view logs generated by the System and Unity along with a powerful CLI (Command Line Interface) that allows you to run custom and premade commands at runtime. Generated logs can also be filtered and searched through, helping to make debugging Unity builds quicker and easier. The CLI also comes with an autocomplete feature that uses syntax highlighting and friendly formatting so that testers and designers who aren't familiar with CLI's can also use RealConsole.

Even for developers, RealConsole tries to be as friendly as possible using attributes for command registration and custom parsers for unique data types. The User Interface is also completely separate from the Backend Core and IO so that you can make custom User Interfaces that I also plan to include in future updates.

How do I get RealConsole?

At the moment, RealConsole is still in development and maybe till the end of 2021. RealConsole is already up and running with powerful features and commands ready for release. Still, more is to be added now and in the future with post-release updates.

You can follow any progress made on RealConsole with the Trello Board link below. Tutorial videos will be released when close to completion to explain RealConsole's capabilities and the usage of its features. RealConsole will also have an API on my website where you'll be able to see everything in greater detail.
