erroneous pattern in bibliography match for biber backend should not contain ` glob="false"`
Note that I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate place to report this as I'm not sure if Enrico Gregorio is active here, but the tool does say Enrico Gregorio, Island of TeX, so ...
MNWE:
-
.tex: checkcites.tex -
TEXMFHOME=. TEXMFLOCAL=. checkcites --backend biber checkcites: checkcites.lua.out
Note that checkcites has no trouble if the MNWE is modified to use BibTeX rather than Biber.
The problem appears to be the glob="false" in the pattern used to find references to bibliography data files in the .bcf. I'm not sure what that is intended to do, but if I remove it, everything works fine.
Patch:
-
diffoutput: checkcites.lua.diff
This is probably not an appropriate way to fix the problem, but hopefully it at least identifies the cause.
I wondered if the .bcf used to include that part of the pattern, but Biber from TL 2023 doesn't match either. Since current checkcites has a 2024 date, I didn't pursue it further.
