RFC065: Extend iShare assessment framework based on DSGO input

Background and rationale

DSGO wants to join iSHARE as Data Space Governance Body and Satellite Administrator. A first impact analysis identified a number of differences that could be resolved through the iSHARE RFC process.

Proposed change: purpose

This issue concerns resolving any blocking differences between the assessment frameworks of DSGO and iSHARE.

iSHARE has a general assessment for Certified Parties. DSGO proposes that iSHARE follows the DSGO assessment framework ("normenkader"), which specifies an assessment and levels of assurance per role. Also, the DSGO assessment framework is updated according to eHerkenning 2023, and has additional sections on information security.

Proposed change: considerations and requirements

  • One obvious difference is that DSGO is written in Dutch and iSHARE in English.
  • Not every difference has to be blocking.
