By default the inventory returns the hostname instead of the fqdn.

By default, the inventory returns the hostname instead of the fqdn. This diverges from the standard use of the ansible inventory which should have the fqdn as the inventory_hostname allowing the use of inventory_hostname_short to get the hostname.
