Redream no longer working on Raspberry Pi (Retropi 4.8)

Good Afternoon

I know this has been raised, however, I couldn't find an open issue and I can't see that it's been fixed. Apologies if I've missed something obvious.

I recently updated Redream via the Retropie scripts and it downloaded a more recent version. However, this version will not launch. Having seen the other issue, this appears to be something to do with Mesa? Although if I'm honest I don't know what that is...

The other issue seemed to suggest that a fix had been put out, however, I am still unable to get Redream to run. The only way I can get it to function is to download the, very old, stable version or another old version from the Wayback Machine.

Is this something that I should now be able to fix? Or are we waiting on a solution?

Note: I'd love to just update my Retropie build to something more recent, however, it's the result of months of work getting everything set up and I don't want to risk going back to the beginning...

Regards

Jonathan
