Inkscape will be holding an About Screen Contest for Inkscape 1.1.

Timeline:

• Jan. 24 - Feb. 21 - Submission (4 weeks)
• Feb. 22 - Feb. 28 - Community voting (1 week)
• Mar. 1 - Mar. 7 - Contributor voting (1 week)
• Mar. 9 - Winner announcement (2 days space to fix things in the image and to finalize the announcement)

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

• Website stuff (update texts, set up contest, format articles) (@Moini)
• Contest submission monitoring and fixing requests (license check, font check, topic check, spam check, logo check, credits check) (@t1mj0nes + new recruit)
• Messaging (articles, social media posts, can be split between multiple persons) (@zigzagmlt + new recruit)
