There are a lot of presentations and articles on her site about funding open source projects. I'm sure they will be an excellent read to anyone interested in the topic, and specifically whoever wants to be involved in helping fund Inkscape.

- We feel our OSS project needs more funds in order to develop better software/more features. Are we wrong to assume money can solve it?
- Does paid development corrupt OSS?
- If paid development is introduced in an old OSS project, how should past contributors be rewarded?
- Should we focus more on getting more money, or getting more contributors?
- What should OSS projects that have a large user base but too few contributors focus on to be sustainable?
- It is the moral duty to take non-time contributions from users to make sure that users who are non-technical have a voice in the project. Contributions are speech, and we deny users the freedom to collaborate if we refuse them the ability to give us money.
- How to prevent jealousy between paid/unpaid contributors?
- Any other projects that pay for "boring" work?
- Does paying "regulars" demotivate new contributors?
