Page Color

While following this tutorial from Logos By Nick I found it kinda silly when changing the background color you can't change the "page" color as well. Nick's solution is to make a white rectangle and lock the layer but as he points out that creates some unintended side effects. Another annoyance this method introduces is that if you want to resize the page of your design this page rectangle will not resize with the page.

I resize the page with ctrl+shift+R a lot and his method won't work for me. Alternatively, I can just not place a rectangle as the page but that just looks weird. It would be nice if there was a color selector for the "page" along with background and border color that would scale with the page size and not appear when exporting your designs.

Here's what the page looks like with and without the color added. Without the white page just looks strange.
