      Fix solve_quadratic() when b = 0 · 5f9629f8
      Yuki Hoshino authored
      The code expects sgn(0) = 1 or -1, but the implementation is sgn(0) = 0.
Therefore the function reutrns unexpected values when b = 0.
Add the code instead of sgn().

Stabilize API for upcoming release · eef94be6
      Bryce Harrington authored
This adopts a (fairly standard) approach for API/ABI stability and
      versioning.

The reason for stabilizing the API is more due to the fact that
development has slowed considerably, and stabilizing it will facilitate
wider and more standardized distribution of the library. Indeed, there
are probably a number of areas where the API could still be
significantly improved, but no such work is currently under way. If and
when it does, we'll target it to a Version 2.0.

Embed googletest in source tree. · 91c60007
      Bryce Harrington authored
The make dist rules are not set up to handle submodules, so they omit
googletest and the subsequent build breaks. Since googletest is our
only submodule, and since it hardly ever changes, simplest solution is
to just include its source code directly in the tree.

A better solution would be to use googletest as an external dependency,
however it appears the packaged version in Ubuntu is not an easily drop
in replacement for what is currently in use. Inkscape uses a script to
download the googletest code as a workaround, however it is also not a
drop in replacement here and would take some adjustments to make work.
