Text on path loses styling when empty
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- create a line of text
- Edit: select all the text (with the text tool)
- change typeface (preferably a display typeface so the difference is obvious)
- change size (say to 50) and color
- change alignment to center/right
- create a path
- put text on path
- select text
- select all the text (with the text tool)
- type something to replace the text.
What happened?
Alignment is lost (offset is maintained), font is set back to parent (text tag/default) style
right is what should be happening (taken from here: !690 (closed))
What should have happened?
While editing the text, if all the text is removed, the style should be preserved.
