When copying or cloning an object, it inherits the opacity of the layer it is in instead of the opacity from the original object. #### Steps to reproduce: - Open inkscape - Create any object (basic shapes, groups ...) with opacity set to 100% - Open the layer window (Mays + Ctrl + L) - set opacity layer to another one than 100% - copy paste or duplicate the object #### What happened?
