Using extensions collapses an expanded sodipodi:namedview in XML editor

After clicking apply in the guides creator it collapses the entries in the open XML editor
#### Steps to reproduce:

- open Inkscape to edit 1536.svg template attached below
- Open XML editor and expand base guides entries
- open guides creator
- make sure all windows are visible
- click apply in guides creator
- the XML window collapses
#### What happened?
The XML window display collapses. This is annoying when trying
to create a template and change names of attributes.
#### What should have happened?
XML editor window should not be affected.
