Unified font browser: Some characters in the sample text breaks the preview
Summary:
The sample text of the new unified font browser has an issue with some characters. These characters and all following characters are not shown in the preview and all font previews look the same.
Using all special character I could find on my keyboard I identified '&' and '<' as problematic characters, but understanding the root cause might reveal some more characters.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- open the new unified font browser
- define a sample text containing a '&' or a '<'
What happened?
The sample text stops at the last character before the problematic one and all font previews look the same (see attachments).
What should have happened?
Show a correct preview of each font, including the problematic characters.
