When exporting, the filetype in the Windows 'SaveAs' dialogbox always defaults to the .SVG filetype instead of the chosen filetype
Summary:
When exporting a document to another filetype than SVG, the Windows SaveAs dialog box still defaults the "Save as type" to a .SVG file, instead of the chosen filetype to export.
It DOES save your file in the RIGHT format you have chosen, it's only the "Save as filetype" choice that is wrong, so the dialog box does not list all the files of the chosen filetype.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- draw anything
- Go to File -> Export
- Choose a filetype to export to (anything else than .SVG)
- click on 'Browse export directory'
What happened?
- The Windows 'Save as' dialog box comes up with 'Save as type' default to a .SVG filetype, instead of the chosen filetype
What should have happened?
- The Windows 'Save as' dialog box should come up with 'Save as type' default to the chosen filetype
