[Filters] "Automatic Region" regression since 1.2: the area is smaller and don't take operator like 'dilate' into account anymore.
Hi,
Context:
On my webcomic, Pepper&Carrot, I use Filters to style my onomatopoeias. A classic way to style them is to dilate the font and apply colors. It looks like that:
The regression:
Unfortunately, since recent Inkscape 1.2 (and probably a bit before, I started a bug report on Pepper&Carrot 7 months ago here https://framagit.org/peppercarrot/webcomics/-/issues/210 ) the rendering is off: parts of the filter effects are trimmed around the bounding box of the text.
It is as if the "Automatic Region" checkbox (activated on all my effects) didn't work anymore.
This example picture will probably guide you better to understand the issue:

another example of crop:
On the bright side; the text is still readable. Only the appearance is changed.
Unfortunately, I have many episodes affected by this, and many pages translated in many languages (count in thousands). Fixing each region with the GUI manually would be impossible.
That's why it would be great if "Automatic Region" made a better math at guessing the full size of the effect and not cropping the dilatations.
