Inkscape 1.0 freezes up when copying a new ellipse if the Pencil tool "Shape" option has been set to "from clipboard" and Krita is running? (1.0)

Steps to reproduce:

After setting the Pencil "Shape" option to "From clipboard" and while the "Krita" application is running, if I draw an ellipse and try to copy it, Inkscape will freeze up for a few seconds. If I quit "Krita" the freezing doesn't happen. Asking here because Inkscape version 0.92.4 works well.

1. open Inkscape 1.0-alpha
2. open Krita (https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/)
3. go back to Inkscape
4. "F6" key (Pencil tool)
5. set the "Shape" option to "From clipboard"
6. "F5" key (Ellipse tool)
7. draw an ellipse
8. go to menu > "Edit > Copy"

What happened?

Inkscape will freeze up for a few seconds

What should have happened?

I wonder why Inkscape freezes up
