Text and Font dialog preview becomes too large with large fonts, browsing fonts gets difficult
Summary:
When the font is large and the text is longer than one line, the preview can make the font list hard to browse.
It would be nice to have a min size for the font list that shows a bit more than 3-4 lines of fonts.
It would also be nice if there were less of a padding around the preview at the top, so the space can be used more efficiently.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- open Text+Font dialog
- write a multiline text and make it large, e.g as in for a poster
What happened?
The preview gets so large that it gets difficult to browse the font list.
What should have happened?
A better balance between realistic preview and usability of font list needs to be found. E.g. only 3 lines preview, min size for font list, make better use of available space by reducing top margin of preview.
