Deleting a handle of smooth node may move the other handle

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • draw a circle/ellipse with circle tool (first object)
  • object to path
  • with node tool select the three upper nodes then copy them (ctrl+C )
  • with same tool click twice in an empty place then paste (ctrl+V) (second object)
  • delete inferior node of first object (here a small issue already reported inbox#5974 (moved) that is not today's topic [fixed])
  • delete inferior handle of lateral nodes (ctrl+click) of first object: expected behavior
  • delete inferior handle of lateral nodes (ctrl+click) of second object

What happened?

When deleting the handle of the second lateral node of the second object the geometry changes in an unexpected way.

What should have happened?

  • First and second object should look the same.
  • Deleting the handle of a node should not change the handle of another node
