Delete no longer works in Objects dialog or context menu with Node tool active

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• create a path
• switch to the node tool
• open object list or right click on the path
• delete

What happened?

• nothing gets deleted

What should have happened?

• things get deleted
