Custom Keyboard Shortcut Gets Overwritten After Restart
Summary:
Custom Shortcut Edited In Preferences Get OverWritten By Restarting And Putting A New Custom Shortcut
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- Check Shortcut In Configuration File
keys/default.xml(empty custom shortcut by default) - In User Preferences , Select Keyboard Shortcut , Set
Inkscape.xmlAs Keyboard File - Hit Reset , Just To Make Sure It Have Clean default.xml
Then
- Edit One Key (Dropper to F3 In My Case)
- Close The Preferences , Close The Inkscape
- Check Shortcut In Configuration File
keys/default.xml(now filled with 2 Custom Shortcut With Action ToolDropper)
Restart

Close and reopen Inkscape

Open Preferences , Keyboard Shortcut , Now Set Another Key (Bezier Pen To F6 In My Case)

Close The Preferences , Close The Inkscape

Check Shortcut In Configuration File
keys/default.xml(now filled with 2 Custom Shortcut With Action ToolPen , Completely OverWrite My Previous Shortcut About Dropper)
What happened?
The Second Time I Edit The Custom Shortcut , It overwrites my previous custom shortcut .
What should have happened?
I Expect Inkscape Would Append The Shortcut After Each Edit .
