Measurement tool shows incorrect angle after changing reference.
Summary:
When you change the reference point of the measurement tool and measure an angle, it gives an angle that is greater than 180 degrees in some cases.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- select the measurement tool
- hold left click and drag left and slightly up
- while still holding left click, click the right
ctrl
key - while still holding left click, drag downwards
What happened?
Once the blue line crosses the horizontal point, the depicted angle jumps to something between 180 and 360 degrees, on the wrong side of the circle.
What should have happened?
The angle should be between 0 and -180 degrees on the other side of the circle.
It seems that the crossover point is at the horizontal line. This crossover point is correct if you don't change the reference by clicking right ctrl
, but becomes incorrect if you do change this.
