Resizing stroke-less objects with snap to grid enabled not following mouse or even snapping to grid at certain zoom factors
Summary:
Resizing rectangles in a large document doesn't work as expected when dragging midpoint of the rectangle. Even small mouse movements lead to jumps or larger resizing of the selected object.
The document is configured to use "px" units everywhere but snapping sometimes produces uneven coordinates (eg. 123.001 when using a high zoom factor).
As it only happens with rather large documents I've included a sample.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Inkscape
- Open attached document
- Select the red rectangle
- Click on the arrow in the middle of the lower bounding box and drag it downwards to resize
What happened?
Objects expands more than mouse is moved. At high magnification the coordinates might deviate from the grid completely (not snapping to grid anymore; e.g. xxx.997 etc)
What should have happened?
Drag point/bounding box should follow mouse cursor. Size of rect should align to grid (i.e. coordinates should be even).
