Wacom, Huion Pen is Offset and Not Aligned when using Multiple Monitors at Different Resolutions
Steps to reproduce:
- Configure one Monitor to 4k and another to 2560x1440, 1080p, etc.
- Install Inkscape
- Open Inkscape (Blank, default, document is sufficient)
- Using Wacom Paper Tablet and Pen
- Select a Tool, (Bezier, Pen, etc.)
- Use the Tool
Workaround: Keep both monitors at the same resolution.
What happened?
- Drawn lines appeared to the right, or above, (depending on difference in resolutions), by what appears to be the difference in screen resolutions.
- It is odd, but the alignment to select the tools is correct, but using them is offset.
- Issue persists whether maximized, or otherwise.
- Issue persists regardless of which monitor the app is moved to, (primary and secondary).
What should have happened?
Drawing on the screen should create lines directly under the tool.
Inkscape Version and Operating System:
- Inkscape Version: 92.5 1.0rc
- Operating System: Windows
- Operating System version: 10
- Happened in earlier versions, as far back as 2013 too https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1188211
