Inkscape 1.0.1 crashes when grouping path with "clone original" LPE applied

1.0.1 (3bc2e813, 2020-09-07) x64 on windows 8.1 x64

• Open a new document
• Draw something simple (bezier tool or another one) (no need of Live path effect)
• Edit > clone > Clone original path (LPE)
• Ctrl+G (group) --> CRASH

On my computer I have the crash every time I do the above steps. Please note that 1.1-dev (cc619caa, 2020-09-10) behaves well.
