Lengthy Resource dropdown (UX issue)
When uploading a package to the release tool via the administrative interface for Releases, one can select the resource from a dropdown widget. Over time as we've done more and more releases, the number of entries in this widget has grown significantly, making it a bit tedious to look for one's package.
The contents of the widget also seem to be displayed in an arbitrary order, so the user can't rely on alphanumerical sorting to help narrow down where their file might be.
Another minor UX aspect is that since it is a dropdown, if one accidentally clicks off the widget it closes, and the user has to start their search over from the top.
Using a different widget, and sorting alphanumerically may or may not be feasible within the constraints of the django administration interface, however I think those fixes would be just "band aids" anyway. A better solution might be to change the workflow.
