I now finally got a little break to catch up with Inkscape and was rushing to translate 2018 Boston Inkscape Hackfest to Portuguese only to be presented with a 502 Bad Gateway error from nginx. Only Portuguese language seems to be affected for now, others open the editing interface fine apparently.

I can confirm that clicking on 'Translate News' to add a new translation (no matter which language) results in either a 502 or 500 page.
