Translators can exchange Inkscape download files and gpg signatures
As discussed via email with @doctormo :
For translating release platforms and release notes, translators can access everything related to a release.
As a permanent fix, @doctormo suggested this: "We'd have to work on some extra bit of code to do the separation. And the ideal would be to extract the information into a pot file so it can then be translated in the best tool and then brought back in."
As a preliminary fix, I'd suggest only giving translators access to the 'platforms' model, and to suggest translating release notes on the Wiki (as is done anyway), and by email for 'release platforms' and then have them ping someone to copy-paste their texts in.
Hope it's possible to have separate perms for platforms, release platforms and releases. I probably could make that change myself.
I'd volunteer to do the copy-pasting for the sake of the integrity of the Inkscape download files, and some more peace of mind when approving new unknown translators.
