Permanent block for AOTM on front page

We've had 2 Artist Of The Month contests so far based largely on @pacer's efforts. We hope to increase awareness since this is an ongoing event and we could use more entries by adding a permanent block to the front page of the website.

Is this a good idea?

Any submission to the Forums or Gallery during a month can be nominated to become an AOTM entry. Community votes on the nominees are cast at the end of the month. AOTM Rules
