docs, FAQ should mention Inkscape doesn't process scripts in SVGs
I opened a LibreOffice Impress slide exported as SVG in Inkscape and its appearance was incorrect (Inkscape issue 6566) because Inkscape does not process the JavaScript in it.
That's understandable once you know about the problem, but I found no mention of this. I think Inkscape troubleshooting/FAQ documents should say something like:
Inkscape does not process scripts embedded in or referenced by an SVG, although you can view and edit the scripts' code (look in File > Document Properties > Scripting > under both External scripts and Embedded scripts). This means an SVG with JavaScript that works in a browser, such as an animated slide presentation, may appear very different in Inkscape.
Based on a cursory search for "FAQ" and "troubleshooting", the above caution could usefully go in
- https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Frequently_asked_questions
- https://inkscape-manuals.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ , maybe in "Importing other File Formats"
