Policy Discussion: Generative AI

Like other open source projects, Inkscape has received merge requests and issue reports that are partially or wholly AI-generated, either with or without attribution. As AI usage raises concerns related to contribution quality, data privacy, copyright, environmental costs, and more, Inkscape is in need of an AI policy clearly describing the limitations on acceptable use.

Please reply to this issue with examples of other policies, concerns, suggestions, etc.
