installed fonts not showing in the menu, Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92.4

I've seen several reports about this, and so far, no one has been able to troubleshoot, or find a good solutions. I apologize for not having much info, but I think it needs to be reported.

Someone has found that installing fonts using Install for All Users, solves the problem. But unless the computer has more than one user account, that option is not available. So it's not a solution for everyone.

I've also seen an anecdotal report that a recent Windows 10 Windows Update has created a new folder for fonts, and after installing the update, all new fonts are placed in that new folder. I have no idea if it might be part of the problem or not, but worth mentioning. (I don't have Windows 10, unfortunately.)
