Incorrect editing of the text from imported PDF

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • load .pdf file
  • edit text fields

What happened?

Cursor on editing text field stays on his position, and letters showing before the cursor, not after him. Letters are merging between themselves, and this makes text unreadable and uneditable.

And, this happens only with few fonts, e. g. for Times New Roman. For Helvetica everything seems to be allright.

Debug sends to stdout:

(inkscape:5334): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_font_family_list_faces: assertion 'PANGO_IS_FONT_FAMILY (family)' failed

(inkscape:5334): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_font_family_list_faces: assertion 'PANGO_IS_FONT_FAMILY (family)' failed

What should have happened?

Text must be edited propertly.
