Inkscape 1.0alpha AppImage unable to save as dxf

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • save the new empty document as AutoCAD DXF R14
  • observe error message

What happened?

What should have happened?

No error message should be displayed and a dxf file should be created.
