MacOS Mojave: Inkscape Crashes Immediately and displays error with unknown characters

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• ... thats it

What happened?

it displayed a popup with a bunch of boxes which say "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now." in a text editor.

What should have happened?

it should have opened regularly

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

• Inkscape Version: ... 0.92.2
• Operating System: ... MacOS Mojave
• Operating System version: ... 10.14.4
