Use Accessibilty defaults for workspace/page background colors
Migrated from https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/171077
From 2006-01-11 to 2018-07-12
Summary:
Original title: Use Windows defaults for workspace/page background colors
I think that this software is really promising. But it lacks one feature for me -- setting another workspace/page background for better accessebility. I use non-white color for window background in my Windows theme, and I request the possibility to use this background for Inkspace. (Like in Acrobat Reader -> Preferences -> Accessebility -> Use Windows color scheme). Thank you in advance.

Migrator's Notes:
- I expanded this feature request to all OSes as for some time now, Accessibilty options are availble in each OS's preferences.
- Although Inkscape's Themes settings isn't customisable(?) nor does Inkscape respect OS Accessibility options per se,
Document Preferences
allows for background and page color customisation (among other color customisation, resolving to an acceptable(?) degree the original request. - Main motive for migration instead of closing: it's possible I've missed some detail/subtlety of this issue, as (****** *****) I don't need/use the Accessibility settings.
