1.0alpha: can't align contents of linked SVG file
Steps to reproduce:
- Place the two attached files in the same local directory.
- Open
outer.svg
.
Notice two blocks of text, one part the current document, the other part of a linked external SVG. - Use the align tool to left align the two blocks.
What happened?
The left edge of the "Outer Text" block is aligned to the left edge of the included document, not of the "Inner Text" block, which is the only visible component of that document.
What should have happened?
Either unconditionally or by switch, alignment should occur to the visible part of the document, as though it were a group in the host document. Such behavior could be determined by an object property or an option in the align tool. The default should be the new behavior, as interest in the document boundary is less typical in design than that in the visible components.
